Photos: Rodriguez + Diplomats of Sound – High Noon Saloon

Thanks to everyone who came out for Rodriguez + Diplomats of Sound at the High Noon Saloon last night in Madison. We really appreciate all of you that came out in support of an artist whose support has been long overdue. Once again, Muzzle of Bees photographer Ed Oliver navigated the crowd to provide the steller shots you’re seeing here.

Last night was an amazing moment in my musical lifetime. Rodriguez definitely deserves every bit of praise he gets. Considering there is the chance we might never see the legend perform again, he is certainly leaving on a high note. Thanks to everyone who was able to help bring him to Madison and allow us the opportunity to experience a truly magical performance!

I agree with what Andy said – and would like to emphasize the fact that his praise is well over due. A great sound was under appreciated in the 70s and thanks to the interwebs he finally realized that what he was doing was worthwhile. Now we all get to benefit from it. Last night was a great night and he is a wonderful man – with that huge smile always on his face! I will be looking forward to the opportunities to see him again in the future. Hopefully they aren’t few and far between!

If you enjoyed the Diplomats of Solid Sound they’ll be returning to Madison to play the Memorial Union Terrace Jun 27th under Rhythm and Booms.
