I was really happy to hear Box full of letters. It was cool to hear the first Wilco song” off A.M.”I ever heard, live. Took me back to high school when my buddy came over with with the A.M. cd and we listen to the cd over and over. crazy 14 years ago.

I was holding off to see if there would be a review of last night’s show, but I think I’m safe now.

I was there on Wednesday night as well. Having my first time seeing Wilco live also being my first show at Pabst made it a near religious experience. Waiting in line at the photo shoot for Wilco’s upcoming album art was a unique experience, too.

Out of the 6 times I’ve seen Wilco, this was my favorite show. Shot in the Arm was my favorite of the night. I can’t wait for night two!

Great show. My favorites:

1. Hearing so much materal from YHF and Ghost, all of which sounded terrific.

2. Nels’ solos, esp during Ashes of American Flags and Impossible Germany (which led into a duet then trio); he was on fire.

3. The comedy stylings of Jeff Tweedy; he’s getting funnier with age.

4. The acoustics at the Pabst

5. Handshake Drugs

6. I’m the Man Who Loves You

7. I Am Trying to Break Your Heart

Minor complaint: Would’ve like to have heard more new material.

Loved the show- it was my first time seeing Wilco, and I was blown away by everything. It’s always great to see a band playing that looks like they’re having just as much fun as you are. I felt lucky to see that. I wish I had tickets to this night as well.
