two thumbs up

It’s a combination of things I love: Wilco, Milwaukee, and camels. I can’t wait for this album.

two humps up

It’s not a camel, it’s a dromadary.

@Kevin – Are you sure? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dromedary

Hahahaha, that’s ridiculous and awesome.
I’m looking forward to this album – it’ll be interesting if this one is closer to A Ghost Is Born or Sky Blue Sky.
Oh! Don’t forget to send your SP friend out to the Afterdark in Point tonight to check out that huge local show.
Should be fun.

AGIB involved Jeff’s rehab; this time, he just cant cope with kicking those Camel Lights…
This cover is sweeeet. Hilarious. Very cool that the picture was taken in MKE.

I do not know what is worse, this picture or the fact that they start their new albulm with “Wilco (The Song).”

@Ryan, at the wilco show at the Pabst, that is what Jeff Tweedy said he saw in Milwaukee. He explained that dromedaries have two humps. I guess I was just trusting what he said

I believe it’s a bactrian camel.

The easy way of remembering the difference is, the letter “B” has two humps, and the letter “D” has just one.
Now there’s some great trivia for you.
But yeah, I’m looking forward to this album immensly.

Is that Mader’s I see in the background? What an interesting choice of location.

They also took photos inside Wisconsin Cheese Mart!

@Tina – It’s ironically self-referential…everyone’s doing it these days…The Office, Parks and Rec., Letterman, any Christopher Guest mockumentary…the list goes on.

It’s so great that this record will forever tied to the city of Milwaukee. I imagine that Wilco fans, when in town will now dine at Mader’s and visit the cheese store. Can’t wait to see what other photos make up the packaging for the record.

Tanner, thanks very much for the link. It’s cool how the Milwaukee blogs were all over the location. Can’t wait to see the rest of the pix (and hear the album!) too.
