When No Age, Dan Deacon & Deerhunter combine to form Nodeachunter you know you’re in for a few surprises and a massive crowd. Last night’s show at the University of Wisconsin’s Terrace was jam-packed with people right up close to the stage. All accounts coming in say it was a memorable, though sometimes tense evening. Below, and per usual, find the fantastic photos from Ed Oliver.
Discuss: What did you think of the show? Is that you being body passed? What were the highlights of the night? Anybody buy the t-shirt?

Overall, it seemed like a great show, but it needed to be much louder, especially given it was outside and very packed. I moved from being down front to up top and the sound came through a bit better the further away I was, but I left a little early because I got tired of straining to make out the songs…
I thought show was great considering all the little problems that happened. What an awesome concept to do the round robin style. Can you buy the t-shirt online?
It was great to be at a WUD Music show and not have to worry about all the little problems. No Age actually sounded good last night- pleasantly surprised.
the sound was super sketchy, in my opinion. it improved during parts near end of the night (especially deerhunter’s last stretch); however a few of dan deacon’s songs were butchered near the end (which was a bummer). but thanks to WUD music for a good night.
p.s.- Bradford Cox is a Prima donna
haha that’s my friend Po body surfing
I’m going to their show in Milwaukee tonight. I hope it’s as fun as those pictures make it look.
I went to there show in newport kentucky and it blew my mind many times over>>
No Age’s stack was soo loud and dan was just killin it>>
It wasn’t that awesome.
I’m a fan of all three bands – esp. deerhunter – and I think I would’ve rather heard three different sets as opposed to one mishmash, it seemed like they didn’t really know what they were doing.
oh well, just the same it was nice for the union to score the show.
good work.
