I have no idea how I missed the Slobberbone shows. Their “farewell” show at the Abbey Pub with Two Cow Garage was close to the greatest thing ever.

This may not be the ideal place for this question, sorry.

Are there details on the SoCo thing out there yet? I’ve heard (here?) that Ghostland Observatory was going to play the Barrymore in October, but have also heard that the Dandy Warhols are going to play the Majestic at the beginning of September as part of it?

So confused. If you could let me know, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Oh, and just remembered – on Friday Aug 14 John Henry & the Engine are playing at Kiki’s House of Righteous Music, with August Teens.

Didn’t realize you didn’t know about it, this week’s highlight is a series of local shows by the mighty SLOBBERBONE, on a small reunion tour. Playing Thursday at the Abbey Pub in Chicago, with Glossary. Playing Friday at the Port Washington Maritime Festival, with the Blueheels. Saturday they’re back with Glossary in Minneapolis.
