Dead Oceans just announced On Fillmore as their newest roster addition. The duo consists of Darin Gray and Wilco’s Glenn Kotche and is aptly described as “a post-modern noir-film soundtrack that takes place somewhere where jungle meets sea, where dream meets memory.” Their upcoming release (their third), Extended Vacation arrives on November 3rd.

“Extended Vacation takes the listener on a strange, dreamlike journey. Melodies blend with atmosphere, the sounds are confusing and comforting, concocting a rich cinematic landscape of sound.” It sounds perfect on the rainy/miserable Milwaukee day.
