Video: The Avett Brothers – “I & Love & You” (Letterman)

The Avett Brothers release I and Love and You today. Last night they hit late night television for the first time, performing the title track from the new album on David Letterman. The Avett Brothers play the Barrymore Theatre in Madison on Wednesday, October 21st and return to Milwaukee next year for a show at Turner Hall Ballroom on March 6th.

    Seriously, they need to ditch Rubin and go back to Kadar.
    Or get the two to collaborate.
    I’ve avoided their live show the past few years out of respect for a pact made with a friend of mine who’s fighting overseas in Fallujah, but he’ll be back next February, so I think we’re definitely going to be at that March gig.
    I can’t wait.

    Not their first excursion into late night…they played Conan O’Brien back in May of 2007 performing “Paranoia in B flat Major” off of Emotionalism.
