Unbelievable energy. Seth talked about how, after touring for so long they're so tired they feel like their going to fall over, but that the energy of the crowd carries them. Well, the crowd was REALLY into them and the Avetts returned the favor. Such amazing musicians. I can't imagine they're ever that badly out of tune. If Butter heard anything out of tune it was probably the audience, who, at times were louder than the band. The Avetts deserve any success that comes their way. They've more than earned it. The Avett Brothers are notorious for putting on high energy shows, and this one was no different. Those in attendance (at least up front) picked up on it too, making it one of the better crowd experiences for me this year. I wish they would have dove into their back catalog a bit more, but an enjoyable Wednesday evening, none the less.
