Today is an exciting day for fans of Milwaukee based Decibully. Their brand new album, World Travels Fast is now available on vinyl, cd, and high-quality (pay what you want) digital download at Listening Party Records.
Vinyl Giveaway: We have one (1) very special test pressing copy of World Travels Fast on vinyl to giveaway to the Muzzle of Bees faithful. This is from a limited run of 5 and comes with a very special hand screened cover art. It is cool, and will sound superb. To throw your hat in the drawing, drop a comment with your favorite local band in your city.
In the meantime, you can stream/listen to the entire new Decibully album via the player below. Don’t miss their record release show on Friday, December 18th at Bayview Brew Haus with Invade Rome and Fable and the World Flat.

I definitely adore Mike Sienkowski and his band Whatfor. He has an amazing ability to recreate 60′s style pop music in a way that feels natural and appeals to me at a very gut level.
Definite shout out to Sleeping in the Aviary, who’s live shows are always a blast.

I’d have to say Sleeping in the Aviary, although I have a soft spot for the Casio-craziness of Peaking Lights.

Blueheels, narrowly ahead of Flight/Flatbear & Pale Young Gentlemen. Little Red Wolf is rising up the list, and SitA is mostly Twin Cities-based now.

Well, since I’m limited to Stevens Point and can’t pick my own band due to personal ethics and Bob Burns & the Empty Faces are currently inactive – I’m going to have to side with the band we’re currently recording a split with – Good Grief.

I’d have to say Whatfor even though I believe they’ve picked up ship and moved to the Twin Cities.
Someone who also deserves credit is Robby Schiller. Admittedly, I’m not a huge fan of Blueheels, but Robby solo always blows me away.
