I definitely adore Mike Sienkowski and his band Whatfor. He has an amazing ability to recreate 60′s style pop music in a way that feels natural and appeals to me at a very gut level.

Definite shout out to Sleeping in the Aviary, who’s live shows are always a blast.

Well, since I’m limited to Stevens Point and can’t pick my own band due to personal ethics and Bob Burns & the Empty Faces are currently inactive – I’m going to have to side with the band we’re currently recording a split with – Good Grief.

I’d have to say Whatfor even though I believe they’ve picked up ship and moved to the Twin Cities.

Someone who also deserves credit is Robby Schiller. Admittedly, I’m not a huge fan of Blueheels, but Robby solo always blows me away.
