Unfortunately, The Alberta Cross at the High Noon was cancelled. I emailed Cathy and the promoter and both told me that they are going to LA that day to play a Grammy party. I was told no make-up date has been made. I was given this link as an explanation:

Unfortunately, I don’t think Alberta Cross is playing in Madison on Thursday night anymore. Wish it wasn’t so…

  3. Tag Says:

Alberta Cross did cancel, but Hacienda, their touring support, is still playing. Hacienda’s latest record was produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys…and they also served as Auerbach’s backing band on his most recent solo tour.

El Valiente and Jeremiah Nelson are opening for Hacienda…and admission is a sweet 5 bucks!

Here’s a link to a live session for Hacienda on NPR…as well as a link to a free download: http://trueendeavorsblog.com/2010/01/22/hacienda-npr/

  5. Shooter Gunderson Says:

I heard on the internet somewhere that Justin Vernon, Jeff Tweedy and Feist bought pre-sale tix to the Hacienda/El Valiente/Jeremiah Nelson 1/28 show and said it was “gonna be sweet…”
