The name Dinosaur Feathers got thrown around a couple times while hanging with Group of the Altos at Shangri-La in Austin. Tonight, Dinosaur Feathers play a late show at Club Garibaldi for anyone looking to extend their evening after Joanna Newsom in a totally opposite direction.

I’m familiar with the band so far as their myspace page and this youtube video. It was enough to make me pick up their full-length Fantasy Memorial. My favorite jam from the record is the Tropicália leaning “Vendela Vida“, download it below and check them out tonight.
