The National’s new album High Violet arrives on May 11th. We’re excited as we should be, considering the band has twice delivered our favorite albums of the year.

At this point I’m hoping everyone took advantage of the advanced album stream (and amazing feature) at the New York Times. Our thoughts on the album coming later this week.

The National along with The Antlers will play Milwaukee’s Riverside Theater on Wednesday, August 4th. Tickets are $24.50 and go on sale this Friday at noon.
