Hurricane Bells, Deep Dark Woods, Mark Waldoch

We’re pretty excited for Saturday’s triple bill at the Cactus Club in Milwaukee. On deck is Hurricane Bells, Deep Dark Woods and Mark Waldoch.

Hurricane Bells is a new project from Steve Schiltz, the singer and guitarist of Longwave. We got our introduction to Deep Dark Woods last year behind the release of Winter Hours. One watch of their Hear Ya Session and you’ll be a believer. Mark Waldoch should be no stranger to everyone in Milwaukee. He solo version of the Celebrated Workingman (one of our 2008 favorites) opens the night up. Tickets are only $10 and available at the door.

Buy: Hurricane Bells – Tonight Is The Ghost
MP3: Hurricane Bells – “This Is A Test”
MP3: Hurricane Bells – “I Can’t Remember”
MP3: Hurricane Bells – “Freezing Rain”
MP3: Hurricane Bells – “The Winters In New York”

Thanks for the shout out. That’s still my favorite session. They’ll be in ATL on the 22nd too.

You were right about Deep Dark Woods, it didn’t even take me the whole video to become a fan. I also like Hurricane Bells, after listening to the first two songs you posted, I figured they were a side project of The National, but the third one threw me off. I wish I was in WI to see this show.
