Giveaway: David Bowie – “Station To Station”

Posted on Thursday 23 September 2010

As summer yields to fall we always begin our annual reconnection with the David Bowie catalog. It happens every year. Thus, it’s fitting we get a jump start on that by offering up a 3-CD Special Edition copy Station To Station (out next week), featuring the original album, the previously unreleased ‘Live Nassau Coliseum ’76′ concert, lift-off-lid box, 6-page booklet, 3 postcards. Plus, we’re throwing in a Bowie t-shirt.

Interested? Leave a comment and let us know your favorite Bowie tune and/or album. We’ll select a winner at random and notify them by e-mail.

Photos: Matt & Kim – Majestic Theatre, Madison

Posted on Wednesday 22 September 2010

Last night was a busy night for live music in Madison and Milwaukee. Ed Oliver headed out to the sold out Matt & Kim show at the Majestic Theatre and brought back some great photos (more here). Per usual it was a hot and sweaty affair.

Discuss: Did you make last night’s show at the Majestic? Did anyone catch Built to Spill at the High Noon or the triple bill of Rogue Wave, Midlake & Peter Wolf Crier at Turner Hall Ballroom in Milwaukee. Drop a comment and let us know what you thought of whatever show you saw last night.
