Video: Moondoggies – “Empress of the North”

Keep the Moondoggies on your radar. Their forthcoming release, Tidelands (Hardly Art) has not left us disappointed in our advance spins. It’s currently available to stream in full on their Facebook page. Today, the band released the above video for “Empress of the North” and we’ve also got a download of “It’s A Shame, It’s a Pity” below. Catch them on tour with Dawes next month, including stops in Chicago, Madison, and Milwaukee.

    Great animation.
    Kind of reminds me of Marcel Dzama.
    You should host a weekly animation/video segment on here along with the Poster Tube series, ect.

    Great album. Saw these guys here in Pittsburgh supporting Blitzen Trapper. I hadn’t heard of them before and they really impressed me. The new album has a great sound and a lot of great songs. Sick video too :)
