My Morning Jacket announce new album, Circuital

When we saw My Morning Jacket last August in Chicago they played a new song “Circuital,” which has been announced as the title for their forthcoming sixth studio album.

Video: Great Lake Swimmers – Chorus In The Underground

We’re excited to premiere the new Great Lake Swimmers video for the track “Chorus In The Underground” from their album Lost Channels. The video was recorded at The Underground in Hamilton, Ontario and directed by Scott Cudmore, who also directed the band’s videos for “Still,” “She Comes To Me In Dreams” and the popular Legion Sessions series.

The Great Lake Swimmers will be at SXSW, including a our Backyard BBQ on Friday, March 18th. Additionally, Madison fans will be happy to note the band is returning on Saturday, August 27th for a performance at the 46th annual Orton Park Festival.

Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival Announces Line-Up

I’m really hoping my schedule allows me the opportunity to attend the Wilco curated Solid Sound Festival, which takes places at Mass MoCA in North Adams, MA on June 24-26, 2011. The festival entertainment line-up was announced today that includes a diverse collection of music, comedy and art.
