Rogue Wave will release their 4th studio album, Permalight, on March 2, 2010 on Brushfire Records. The album was recorded at Sweet Tea Studios and produced by Dennis Herring (Modest Mouse, Elvis Costello). The good news continues with the tour dates announced below, including dates in Madison and Chicago.

Our friends at WSUM have put together a great day of music under the guise of the Snake On The Lake festival, taking place in Madison on Saturday, September 27th. Having already announced Damien Jurado, it’s with great enthusiasm that news of Chicago’s very own Tortoise will hold down headlining duties. Other confirmed artists are Awesome Color, Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, El Valiente, The Pistols At Dawn.

The event will once again be held on the University of Wisconsin’s Memorial Terrace and will be free.

With the excitement of an upcoming Damien Jurado album coming soon, it’s time to keep tabs on his touring schedule.

Damien Jurado will play UW at a venue TBA on Saturday, September 27th. Yes, that’s sadly the same night as the recently announced Hayden show. Oh well, perhaps scheduling would afford the chance to see both.

Jurado’s Caught In The Trees will be released September 9th on Secretly Canadian.
