Last night the UW Union Terrace hosted a number of bands scheduled to play this weekend’s Pitchfork Music Festival. The line-up of Yeasayer, Ponytail, Cymbals Eat Guitars, The Antlers, and The Dutchess and the Duke was amazing and the price (free) was impossible to beat.

Ed Oliver was in attendance, bring back some stellar shots. By his report,
Ponytail got real crazy” though Yeasayer “took it up another notch” drop a comment and let us know what your highlights were.

The Dutchess & The Duke earned themselves a damn fine score (8.2) on P4K for their debut album She’s The Dutchess, He’s The Duke. That review was instrumental in bringing the record to the surface of the ever growing promo pile, and, what do you know, the fork folks were right!
